Overview

JP Cullen is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our marketing/business development and technology teams. This role will collaborate closely with us to serve our customers and execute our initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and capable of managing priorities and workflow with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of team projects and initiatives
  • Organize and coordinate events, meetings, tradeshows, and conferences
  • Draft and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate calendars (reserve location, distribute agenda, etc.)
  • Maintain and update databases, records, and files
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of reports and presentations using collected data
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents
  • Review documents for accuracy, readability, and grammar
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications
  • Coordinate with vendors for apparel, swag, etc.
  • Test and provide feedback on various technical processes and procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and at least two years of Business or Administrative experience
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to manage priorities and workflow with minimal oversight
  • Self-directed individual who enjoys being on a team and can work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, editing and writing skills
  • Organized and provides high attention to detail
  • Enjoys working with technology to solve challenges
  • Strives to enhance and create positive change
  • Proficiency of all applicable computer software programs is preferred, including desktop publishing, Microsoft Apps & Services (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, etc.)
  • Understand basic computer concepts and processes
